Located across the road from Lancaster main train station and a couple of minutes from the city centre, this small, family-run traditional bed and breakfast offers free parking (gated), free Wi-Fi and charming, affordable accommodation (sorry we do not take cards). The Old Station House Bed and Breakfast is only 400metres from the bus station and has a fabulous central location. Lancaster castle, Priory and Tourist Information Centre are just 3-minutes walk away. Both of the City's Universities, the grammar schools and all of Lancaster's hospitals are also within easy reach. Formerly the Train Station Masters house, the property has been carefully preserved and sensitively refurbished , this historic building combines rich original charm and traditional character with modern comforts and facilities.All of the en-suite rooms are homely, comfortable and individually designed, with TV's, hairdryers, teacoffee making facilities and iron board. A delicious home-cooked breakfast is available for a small supplement in the price and vegetarian alternatives and lighter continental options are also available.Please note that this is a family home and therefore are reception hours are somewhat limited (Sunday - Friday 5 - 8pm and Saturday 1-6pm). However, if these hours are not suitable please give us a ring we can always sort something out to suit you.
